Fake Humans of New York

I found this wonderful new Facebook page called Fake Humans of New York.  You should check it out!

It appears to be caricatures of native New Yorkers, along with these funky absurd little bio/interviews about manta rays or hats, or alien cults.  It appears to be updating every day, regularly, in seeming perpetuity, until everyone in New York is drawn, missing or dead.

You know, New York.

Owl

I decided in my suddenly copious free time to brush up a little on my ink washing skills this year.

So I made an owl, as is the tradition in the Great Illustrator Families of the Ozarks.

It's a shark tree.

I mean, it said it right there in the title.

Maybe I would get more hits if I named it something like "Untitled 74: Grasp of the Sacred Feminine" or "Wharf" or "Saturday Evening Post Cover June 3, 1948."

Ever wonder how snow days get called?  Who calls them?  How you can surreptitiously manipulate the international cabal of scientists, politicians, and field agents who keep the roads and schools safe to get an extra day to write that book report due on Monday?
