The New Funk City Challenge

It's been a month since I posted, but that's because I've been working on THIS.  It started as a personal 24-hour comic, turns into a 48-hour comic, and ended up being a 2-week comic.  The book is done, the art is finished, I'm sending it to the printer tomorrow, and then...

well, I don't know.  I guess I'll sell it.  Why not?

The cover is based off the art of Drew Struzan 80s movie posters I know, that then became movie novelization covers.

Dark Ambrosia

Dark Ambrosia, my 2014 24-Hour Comic, is now up for perusal, for FREE, on Tumblr.

Check it out if you like coffee, or if you like life, or if you don't like either of those things, and are looking for something to hate-read.

Big Cartel Man

I just created an online store upon which to sell my home-published wares.

The first three items listed are my two self-published comic books Dark Ambrosia and Bad Knight, and my 2015 Calendar, 365 Reasons to Dance.

This calendar is a yearly tradition, previously only available to clients, employers, and family members, all of whom will still be receiving one non gratis this year too.

But ANYONE ELSE, check around here, and finish up your Christmas shopping in one fell swoop.

UPDATED: by popular buyer request, an image of all 12 Calendar Months to peruse.  Go to BigCartel.  All of this can be yours for only $20, plus shipping and handling.  At that price, I'm practically giving these away.

Inktober Day 10

So, what exactly is my 24-hour comic about?

Coffee.

Really, really good coffee.  Just put the finishing touches on this panel today.

Inktober Day 6

This is sort-of drunken kung-fu.  Actual drunken kung-fu uses core strength to tilt and sway as if you were drunk, while maintaining perfect balance.  You hold your hands as if they were filled with drinking cups to fight, and the whole thing is supposed to put the enemy off-guard.

The Jackie Chan movie Drunken Master is a pretty good interpretation of drunken kung-fu, except for the part where he has to get actually drunk to be good at it.

Inktober Day 4

Inktober happens to happen at the same time as 24-Hour Comic Day, which means that another page is all I have the time for today.  It's a day late, but you try making 24 pages in 24 hours.
