Harmless
According to some people, two of the things in this picture have never hurt anyone, and are lovely traditions that ought to be continued.

Awesome Con Aftermath
A few weeks ago, I went to Awesome Con, DC. I'm just now recovering enough to post a couple of the commissions I did that weekend.

Doping in Sports
The idea here is that doping in sports is tearing up the basis of the games in the first place. Poker is exciting because there are only 4 aces. If everyone can print one, what's the point of playing. The game is no longer about skill, it's about which team is packed with the most steroids, and the game is no longer between teams, it's between players and the officials. Not for the audience's benefit, either. For their own pockets and egos.

Snakebite Progress
Immediately after being bitten by a snake, take a close look at the bite area. It's not necessary to draw in too much detail. After discerning what sort of bite you've gotten, try a number of cures. You never know which one will work, so ask for a second opinion.
Swelling may occur, as well as black lines. This is normal.
The lines may appear to spread. Ignore that. Noticing this is the first sign of snakebite madness.
You may start to see colors. This is the second sign of snakebite madness. Continue as planned. Ask for a third opinion.

Subtle notes of bovine manure...
Wine has some hard to describe flavors. So it's no surprise when you find out that most wine descriptors are almost completely made up.

The future (UPDATED!)
Maybe I'll do a little more tweaking, but for all intents and purposes, this sucker is finished!
An unfinished piece. In the future, you'll be able to order a fair trade dark roast French Press from Bolivia and a toke of Mellow Yellow indica kush water bong from Oregon in the same store.
At least, the way American laws are headed.

The New Funk City Challenge
It's been a month since I posted, but that's because I've been working on THIS. It started as a personal 24-hour comic, turns into a 48-hour comic, and ended up being a 2-week comic. The book is done, the art is finished, I'm sending it to the printer tomorrow, and then...
well, I don't know. I guess I'll sell it. Why not?
The cover is based off the art of Drew Struzan 80s movie posters I know, that then became movie novelization covers.
