Go Big, and Go Home!

In the latest Austin Monthly, this fantastic illustration accompanying a equally jaw-dropping article about one fellow, perhaps you know him, who goes a bit overboard in renovating his house after winning the lottery.

Road Rules

Fresh off the presses of Arlington magazine, a new piece illustrating how damn complicated the road names are in Arlington, and Alexandria; most of Northern Virginia, really.

Bored in a hoodie

For this one, I decided to tear a page out of Yuko Shimizu's exquisitely detailed style book.  Not so much with the cloth, but she has a way of rendering every hair  on a person's head, or every flower on a tree, or every stitch in a sweater in ways that seem almost patterned, that I applied to the hair and beard on this guy.

November in India

Hindus consider cows to be sacred, to the point where you simply cannot hit a cow with your vehicle, no matter what it's doing in the road.  Obviously, it was only a matter of time before other animals took advantage of this.

I was attempting to match India with the month of Diwali, but apparently this year, it's taking place on October 23.  Nuts.
