The Uke Box

I recently took up the ukulele. Despite the rain and clouds outside my window (or perhaps because of them) I feel like I'm walking on sunshine.

No more videos

I don't know if it's the server, the computer, or my Flash program, but when I posted my cartoons, they looks like crap. So no more animation posts. Perhaps you'll be able to see them on Youtube later.

Clint

9"x 12"
Acrylic and ink on cardboard.
I love down and dirty art. It's practically free, this stuff is.
I remembered after the fact that Clint did not always look like he was carved out of chunk of hickory.

Art! Science!

Here's the first part of the cartoon I made for my uncle's presentation. Not bad, when you think about the fact that I had never used Flash before. It's more than awesome being able to see your drawings come to life, even in only two dimensions.

For your viewing pleasure, put this on a loop.

Science! Art!

Anyhoo, these are a few flash cartoons I made for my uncle Jerry, who manages the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach (I drop names). It's supposed to be about artists and scientists collaborating to get information across to the public.

Love Parade is coming up

I've posted this before, but Love Parade is actually coming up in the next few weeks to give certain portions of Germany massive hangovers.

hummingbird

This was a book cover for a contest that I simply didn't have time to enter. So I finished it at my own pace.

My most recent volunteer illustration.

Anubis

I was housesitting for my librarian this weekend, feeding her cats and such, when the whiskers got to me and I went on an Egyptian bent. Since I couldn't remember much about Bast, the cat-headed Goddess, I did Anubis instead. I prefer canines.
